The fuel pump regulates the amount and timing of the fuel injected into the combustion chamber and supplies the high fuel pressure needed to operate the fuel injector hydraulically.
Fuel injection is accomplished with the help of a cam and camshaft. Cams are fixed on the camshaft, which is powered by the crankshaft.
The design of parts and assembly are all created in CREO Software.
